How to reference a bible verse in an essay

Hi Nathaniel. I love this question! It’s a tough one because there are a lot of good choices. One more I would consider is the Hebrew Greek Keyword Study Bible (but it might fall into the ‘overbearing amount’ category). It has about an inch margin on the outer and inner margin (though the inner margin is harder to use). The LCBP Note Taker’s doesn’t have any helps, so I wouldn’t consider that one (although it’s a great Bible if you don’t want helps). The Thompson and the Westminster have about the same writing space between the references. They are great if you don’t need to write a lot of notes. The Bible on this list that has excellent writing space and still has a few helps is the Concord Wide Margin. It has references and translation notes in the center column, a really good concordance, 16 pages of maps, a glossary, and an abundance of writing paper. The Allan is a fine Bible, but it doesn’t have a concordance. If you prefer more helps than writing space I would consider the Thompson. It’s filled with topical lists in the back and many sermons have been developed from the Thompson. I love the Westminster, but the only helps it has are a concordance, maps, and a few tables. It’s a great Bible but I wouldn’t say it fits your requirements. From your requirements… if you don’t need a lot of writing space, I would go with Thompson. Here are a few reviews:
